A Member Competition to Honor & Inspire Outstanding Work
The 2027 competition is now open for submissions until October 5. Please note that this deadline will not be extended. 
The NOMMA Top Job Contest is a peer-judged competition created to honor outstanding work. NOMMA members from around the world compete for awards in 14 categories* (down from 17 in past years), including forged and non-forged work ranging from gates and stairs
to furniture and accessories.
NOMMA compiles entries from all the open categories into a printed and digital publication which gives members an opportunity to review projects in greater
detail and provides a keepsake of all the projects submitted. NOMMA members judge the entries and select each year's winners.

Mitch Heitler Award for Excellence
Named for an industry visionary who helped found NOMMA in 1958, The Mitch Heitler Award for Excellence is the highest craftsmanship honor given by NOMMA. This coveted award is presented to a gold Top Job winner selected by a panel of judges,
and marks the grand finale of our Top Job contest.
*Please note the following changes effective August 5, 2026 for the 2027 Top Job contest: 1. We have combined categories A & B (Gates/Driveways). The new name is category A/B “Gates/Driveways: forged and non-forged"
