Purpose of Scholarship                                                                  

This scholarship honors the memory of our friend and colleague Todd Kinnikin, who in 1982, founded Eureka Forge located in Pacific, MO. The UMWC and NEF have partnered to make available an outstanding education and networking experience for a NOMMA member.

 Criteria for Scholarship Selection

  • Applicants must be owners and employees of NOMMA member companies engaged in the fabrication of ornamental and miscellaneous metals
  • Applications must be received on or before January 10 annually. No extensions.
  • Agreement to provide a brief written statement of the value and of the experience after the event is over

Scheduling and General Information

  • The UMWC/NEF will provide a reimbursement of up to $1,000 to the recipient to attend METALfab

  •  At the close of METALfab dated receipts must be furnished to the scholarship chair for review

  • Scholarships will be announced at the Winter UMWC meeting and in Fabricator magazine

  • Scholarships are non-transferable

  • The scholarship selection committee consists of UMWC board members, NEF trustees, NOMMA board members and the Kinnikin family

  • The following are ineligible: members of the selection committee, NEF trustees, NOMMA board members, NOMMA staff and family members of the above.         
     *“Family member” is defined as spouse, sibling, parent, child, grandparent, grandchild, or spouse of a child, sibling, or grandchild 

  Items Required for Application Submission

  •  Complete scholarship application with signed agreement
  • Statement explaining the benefits that the applicant hopes to receive from attending METALfab
