Measuring though the Eyes of the

Fabricator and Installer

Feb 1st  8 – 4:30

Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center San Antonio, TX

Presented by NEF

“When measuring you need to look through the eyes of both the fabricator and the installer to see what is needed to assure a smooth job from start to finish.”  Mark O’Malley of O’Malley Welding Yorkville, IL

Join Mark in this day long class as he examines the tools, technologies and methods of measuring to assure that every layout and installation work perfectly.  He will talk about the tried and true methods along with tips and tricks that he uses when measuring.

You will  meet in a classroom setting where you will hear discussions about an array of lasers, electric hand and homemade tools for measuring, and field layout. CAD, smartphone apps, other layout software.  This interactive class will allow you to ask questions and get the answers you need to apply this method to your business. During the afternoon you will breakout into small groups to put what you have learned into use, measuring in and around the convention center.  If time allows you will all come back together in the classroom to discuss any challenges that you might have had and how to work through them.
