Re: National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metal Association Insurance Carrier/Broker Change

Dear NOMMA Member,

Over the past 3 months, the Board of Directors and management team of NOMMA in cooperation with Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. has been reviewing additional options in regards to lowering rates and providing broader insurance coverages for all members.  Headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. is one of the largest insurance brokerage firms in the United States and has a history dating back to 1925. Alliant provides property and casualty, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, surety, and financial products and services to more than 26,000 clients nationwide, including trade associations, public entities, tribal nations, healthcare, energy, law firms, real estate, construction, and other industry groups.

As many members’ are aware, insurance rates have been increasing over the last year and the NOMMA has been proactive to provide the most competitive insurance program for their members with the broadest coverages.  Consequently, after discussing the rate progression with the current insurance broker, NOMMA has mutually agreed to seek an alternative. We are pleased to report we have finalized an agreement with an A rated admitted and licensed insurance carrier which will provide coverage for all lines of business including General Liability, Workers Compensation, Automobile, Property/Inland Marine, and Umbrella.

This national carrier will be able to provide the necessary coverages for all NOMMA members and is the insurance carrier for many other similar trade organizations and will be participating in Fencetech & METALfab in San Antonio. Therefore, each NOMMA member will be receiving information about a new insurance program that will provide competitive rates and broader coverages than most insurance carriers in the marketplace.

Alliant Insurance Services, Inc. will help facilitate the new program and answer any questions that may arise during this period of transition.  For immediate questions or quotes please call Andrew Stergiou at Alliant Insurance at 212-603-0321 (astergiou@alliant.com).

Thank you for your continued support of the NOMMA Insurance Program!

Sincerely,

Andrew Stergiou
